Drove Joey down to Milwaukee yesterday, where he got on a ferry and headed off to meet Tasha, the girl he's been talking to on the net for two years. Driving down there through WI we realized a great backseat drinking game - take a shot every time you see a giant roadside sign that says CHEESE for no apparent reason. If we'd had any alcohol in the car, it would have rocked even more than it did. Stayed the night in Lodi after dropping Joey off, then drove and drove and drove up until about twenty minutes ago. Had Sheryl Crow blaring on the system the entire way and scenery was breathtaking, so honestly had a great time, even if I drove five freakin' hours straight.
Baila and Jesse were over for the weekend which was. Fucking. Awesome. Realized Baila had never read Shakespeare's sonnets and bought her a copy at a second hand bookstore, then spent about an hour annotating it with word definitions and thoughts. If you have never read all of Will's sonnets chronologically in one sitting, I highly recommend it. A religious experience. Also realized Jesse had never seen The Court Jester, which was swiftly rectified. His lease in San Diego runs out in six months and we were fantasizing about him coming up to Eugene and getting an apartment together. Who knows? May actually happen. Got a couple places I'm looking at right now, roommates seem nice ranging to awesome.
Oh yeah! Been nominated for a JPF music award... whatever that is... [link] and they want me to perform at the awards show in Nashville on August 29'th. Ain't gonna happen, but it's good ego. Which I need. Still depressed as all hell but managing to enjoy myself. Yes, that does make sense... somehow. Still talking to Chris, which helps a lot.
By the way I have a car! It's a big old white Subaru Outback and looks like a giant duck. It's plates, I swear to god spell out VYM5**. Which is only 30% of the reason I bought it, since the plates will change once I register it in OR. But until that happens it is known alternately as 'Vimesy' and 'The Duck'. I will post a picture of it once I have one.
Being a grownup is fun, but apparently heartbreaking.

How are ya? Whats been goin on?

I'm doing great, just about finished with the second album, and I'm heading off for the States at the end of June. In August Tally and I are moving in together in Eugene Oregon.
How the hell are you?!

Comin over to De Amerikas finally huh? You AND Tally, now if that isn't incredibly scary... ^.^
Me? Things are good! A different sort of good, but still. I'm set to enlist in the Army in two/three months (I have to be there at my mother's wedding :2/ ). Other than that, nothin much. Is there an easier way we can mail eachother? I forgot how to navigate DevArt already XD
